Humbleness, No Presumption (Poem)

What a fright that the grace of God is so manifestly spurned,

So many ignorant of the wrath of God that they have so earned,

The world prances about in the arrogance of their wanton haughtiness,

Being so unwitting of their own sinful naughtiness,

How so many presume on God, that He will simply look the other way,

What fear will take hold of them when the justice of God they will have to pay,

But to you my friend my kin, this need not be your lot,

For the grace of Christ is for you in which ye have not sought,

Put away that pompous look and put on the face of chastening,

Believe the Gospel of Christ and we shall all forever sing,

Songs of joy and of His wonderful grace,

We shall forever be in the presence of His glorious face.
