How Can I Avoid Challenges?

Most saints don’t understand how the doctrines actually work with sufferings for our benefit. They’re specifically designed to be ‘for us’ in this dispensation: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Difficult situations are humbling and intensify the doctrine in our inner man. As we trust God, Scripture is empowered to live within us, bringing glory to the Father “…when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” (I Thess. 2:13)

God powerfully works His will to manifest Christ in us as we yield: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (Eph. 3:20) As we trust Him through difficulties, we can appreciate how tribulation works for us. Read Romans 5:3-5, as it teaches how we can even glory in tribulation.
