Paul Saying “None Other Things” Than The prophets?

Acts 26:21] For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.

[22] Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

23] That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Oftentimes, Acts 26:22 Has caused many to question what Paul meant when he said that he is saying none of the things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come. Some will say, “I thought Paul was the “Apostle of the Gentiles.” And yes, Paul is our Apostle today, Paul was sent by God as a chosen vessel unto Him as the Apostle of the Gentiles. Paul was sent as a new Apostle separate from the 12 Apostles, with a different message called “the mystery.” This mystery gospel would be preached concerning God now giving repentance unto life unto the Gentiles, but this would be through Israel’s “fall” not through their prophesied ‘rise’ and Kingdom being fulfilled. This was kept secret and hid within God, as was the “mystery of godliness,” this concerns sanctification unto holiness unto Gentiles who walked according to the course of the world, and had no hope, and without God in the world, they were now partakers of this gospel through Christ and to now live in holiness. Also, an aspect of the mystery gospel concerns the reconciliation of the heavenly places, this heavenly vocation concerned Gentiles being now Christ’s “fullness” as members of the body, and ‘filling All in all’ in his heavenly government. . Notice in the verses below the Apostles preaching the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the Lord also unto Israel by faith, in which “all His prophets” preached “according to the scriptures.”

Acts 3:14] But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

[15] And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

[16] And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

[17] And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

[18] But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

[20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

[21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Moreover, Paul mentions in 1st Corinthians 15, the gospel that he preaches concerning justification unto eternal life has been always preached since the world began about faith in the Redeemer “according to the scriptures.” The death burial and resurrection of the Lord was preached unto mankind, and when man believed in times past he became saved by the scriptures in which he heard. And this says all the prophets preached salvation since the world began, and that is also those prophets before the scriptures were written. That would include Adam unto Moses, they too preached salvation from the debt and penalty of sin to save man out of the sin of Adam, but unto redemption in the Redeemer by the hearing of faith. And as we can see in the verses below, Paul is declaring the gospel in which he preached unto them concerning salvation, and as he says this was according to the scriptures concerning salvation.

1Co 15:1  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1Co 15:2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1Co 15:3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1Co 15:4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And as Paul says in 1st Corinthians 15:11 concerning the preaching of salvation from the debt and penalty of sin against man, “therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. And it was by the belief in the gospel of their salvation by faith alone that placed them no longer in Adam, but now in Christ. This provision of redemption was preached since the world began, and was preached by all the prophets concerning the Redeemer. But concerning how Israel in “times past” lived their lives unto God in sanctification unto holiness, they walked by the Law to bring forth fruit in the sight of God. Our walk of sanctification unto holiness, and our “obedience to the faith” is given unto us by our Apostle Paul in 13 epistles written to us, and for us.

Rom.1:5] By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Rom.15:18] For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

Rom.16:26] But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

And now, I am going to list versus below in which the Lord himself preached the death burial and resurrection, and also some of the verses that the 12 apostles also preached concerning the death burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ “according to the scriptures” in which they are his witnesses.

Luk 24:44  And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Luk 24:46  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Joh 2:19  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Mat 16:21  From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Mat 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Mat 17:22  And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

Mat 17:23  And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

Mat 20:19  And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

Act 2:23  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Act 2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Act 2:31  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Act 2:32  This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Act 4:10  Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Act 4:11  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
