Grace Recovery
If you keep struggling with life’s troubles, worry, stress, anxiety, anger, drugs, drinking….
The Bible has the answer to your problem.
Before we can deal with the issues of life and knowing the doctrine that God gives us to handle these things. First thing we must have settled is where you are going to spend eternity.
The Bible declares “…There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10), and to go to heaven you must be 100% righteous. But no one is.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
God’s word, the Bible, says God has to punish sin. (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9) “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;”
Some people would say they haven’t done anything bad enough to go to Hell. Don’t fool yourself. Adam was told not to eat of one tree.
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
And you have done a lot worse than that!
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
What can you do you about your sin problem? Nothing. God will not allow you to fix it.
Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
You can’t help God out! God has done something to fix your sin debt.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The Bible says that Christ died, why? For your sins. But how do I get this applied on my account, or how does this fix my sin problem?
That is a good question!
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
When we believe the gospel, the Bible says we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. This means our soul & spirit is placed into the Body of Christ, and sealed in there!
You should ask “how long am I sealed into the Body of Christ?”
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
When is this “day of redemption”?
Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The “day of redemption” is the day we get a new body that doesn’t sin.
At this very moment you have the responsibility of making a decision. If you are convinced by God’s Word, you can be saved right now: Simply make the decision in your heart to trust completely and exclusively in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as the total payment to God for your sins. The moment you do, God will forgive you all your sins and save you from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.
The choice is now up to you…What did you decide?
