When we look at the scriptures we have to ask

1 Who is speaking?

2 Who are they Speaking to?

3 Who is the audience?

Why do we rightly divide?? God told us to! 2 Timothy 2:15 Study

There is a way to study to be approved by God. That means there is away to Study and not

be approved by God.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

If you Study God’s way you will not be Ashamed. If you don’t study God’s way you will be

Ashamed.

How do we rightly divide??

2 Timothy 2:15 If we don’t study or rightly study we should be ashamed.

1 Corinthians 3:9-11 how was Jesus laid?

9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Romans 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Jesus was laid According to the revelation of the mystery, not Prophecy.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Prophecy Jesus talked about inherit the Earth.

Ephesians 2:6 and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

The mystery Jesus talked about was he made us to sit together in heaven.

Matthew 10:5-6These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Prophecy Jesus says Jews only.

Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The mystery, Jesus Says Gentiles are of the Same Body.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

God wants us to be strong in Grace, The doctrine.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Faith = Taking God at his Word

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2 Timothy 2:1-2

1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

God wants you toLearnand teach others.

If You are not studying, you are not Learning.

If you are studying wrong then you are Learning Wrong.

The Church should be Built up in the Doctrine And then teach others.

2 Timothy 1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me ; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

Paul said “all they which are in Asia be turned away from me”, They turned From the Grace Message.

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

What does a Good soldier Do? Trains for war and Endures Hardness.

What does a Bad soldier Do? He doesn’t get Trained and then runs off.

2 Timothy 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

If you are fighting for God you are not going to get entangled with the affairs of this life.

Are we trying to Please God or Man?

2 Timothy 2:5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

If you want those rewards in the heavenly places, you have to Train God’s way.

2 Timothy 2:15 God says study and rightly divide or we are not going to be a good soldier.

2 Corinthians 9:24-26

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

Ephesians 3:1-3

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, if ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words;

Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

circumcision =Israel or JEW

Romans 15:16 that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 3:4-7 4whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ,) 5 which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel. 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. 1 Timothy 2:3-4

3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
