1Pe 3:1  Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 

1Pe 3:2  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 

1Pe 3:3  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 

1Pe 3:4  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 

1Pe 3:5  For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: 

1Pe 3:6  Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 

1Pe 3:7  Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

This is a very misunderstood doctrine today, many assume that this ‘obedience,’ and ‘submission’ is a ‘power move,’ where there is one more powerful than the other, with each person desiring to place their individual goals above the other in the marriage. This type of ‘unity’ will never co-exist the godly way God designed, God designed the institution of marriage in the beginning to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth in a godly way, and be as One flesh as “one Body,” just as we are One with the Lord. But Satan hates to see this ‘Oneness’ accomplished, and especially when the Man and Woman are properly operating upon all godliness! 100 years ago, 99.9% of the adult population became married one way, and that was Male and Female Marriage. But Today, Not only is the Male and Female Marriage a ‘Dying Tradition,’ but 80% of today’s Marriages do not last for the ‘Till death do you part’ duration as in times past.

Tit 2:3  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 

Tit 2:4  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 

Tit 2:5  To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

 Today, Satan desires that the Man be “without the Woman,” and the Woman “without the Man,” and that the institution of marriage itself is looked upon as a ‘joke,’ or that the person would ‘have something to lose’ by getting married. Today, many will say, ‘I will never get married,’ or ‘I will never get married again,’ but many same sex couples have a great desire to become married. The word of God will be “blasphemed” when this aspect of godliness is not displayed by the Woman in the above verses, but today’s Woman assumes that walking according to the three verses above carries a ‘weak,’ ‘second class,’ ‘subservient’ life of ‘boredom,’ but this world has educated the Man, and the Woman to “think’ this way. And the Man and the Woman lives their life trying to not ‘blasphemy’ this world’s standards of living life to it’s full potential.

1Co 7:2  Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 

1Co 7:3  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 

1Co 7:4  The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 

1Co 7:5  Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. 

Notice in verse 2, Paul says “every man,” and “every woman?” this is not conditional, and notice the word “power” in verse 4? Because the Man and the Woman ought to be in “subjection” unto each other, not this world, or unto OURSELVES. God desired that the woman would be “a help meet” for the man, and if you think about this; since the beginning of time, until about 40 years ago, the Woman placed more concern, and care upon her Household loved ones; which would be her Husband, and her children. But today, she places this world’s goals, and achievements, and her friends above her marriage, or the institution of marriage itself, and being the true godly Woman that God desires.  Today’s marriages have less children than the marriages 50 years ago, but today, sometimes the single Mom has more Children than the married couple. Today’s Woman and Man are very content with what’s called ‘internet dating,’ and it is even celebrated to have many ‘friends,’ One friend for one need, and One friend for another need, or desire.

1Co 11:3  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 

1Co 11:4  Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 

1Co 11:5  But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 

1Co 11:6  For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 

1Co 11:7  For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 

1Co 11:8  For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 

1Co 11:9  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 

1Co 11:10  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 

1Co 11:11  Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 

1Co 11:12  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 

 Instead of being One Flesh in Marriage, and follow the designed structure for Marriage, Marriage has become a ‘lost art,’ and when those become married, there is NO TRUE godly foundation laid, the children are usually the “Head” of the family, or the Wife, who feels that a godly marriage would have Her as the head. And it is taught among this world, that an ‘Independent Woman’ is what a strong woman is all about, but that is Not what verse 11 says about the Unmarried Woman! The Man “in the Lord,” and the Woman “in the Lord,” have a designed unity as one body, and be as “one flesh,” this unity carries the identity of ‘Oneness’ relationship that we have in Christ’s Body, and when this “power on her head” is not accomplished, Satan will “speak reproachfully,” and she will be victimized by this world, and it’s attacks on the godly designed way she was to be an extension of God’s Holiness, but she has a ‘salvation’ from being victimized by Satan, and this world, and that is following God’s design, not this world’s methods, like ‘self-help’ books, and “the wisdom of Men” counseling, but understanding that her “first faith,” “power on her head,” and “childbearing,” all goes contrary to Satan’s objective today, but is how God would have the Woman to bring forth godliness today.
