1Co 1:25  Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1Co 1:26  For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

1Co 1:27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1Co 1:28  And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Today, the heart and mind of man believes that today’s ‘process’ of information has become more valuable for our knowledge in life itself, and because this world’s ‘up to date’ information has become beneficial to the satisfying of our curiosity, and our quest for the fulfilment of knowledge; or “wisdom,” we begin to trust it for our #1 source “to make one wise.” And when we search the world for this wisdom, (the wisdom of this world) we use the internet, radio, television, books, and even by ‘word of mouth, we find that we grow in more knowledge than before, we begin to trust in this method to “make one wise,” we believe in it to give us our knowledge and understanding, we learn to ‘block out’ any other method for teaching as of no use to use, because our hearts and minds are now being educated, and cleaving unto this ‘effective form’ of teaching style.

Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

 The man desires the “wisdom of this world” to fulfil the “lusts of the flesh” daily; and whether it is by something new to ‘laugh out loud’ about, or something new in the news to debate about, we desire the daily update on the “affairs of this life,” we fall in love with the affairs of this life to the intent that we become the “disputer of this world,” and we begin to ‘fight for’ this world’s ways and life. And after man becomes ‘mighty’ in the wisdom of this world, and it’s ways; man ‘becomes’ a defender of this world, and its ways, and his fight is for this world, and once he hears, or sees something that goes contrary to what the world is propagating as the “good,” he ‘disputes’ it, whether on the social media outlets, or unto others by ‘word of mouth,’ he will let the world know the thoughts of his heart, and his wisdom in the matter. But this was to be how the man was to respond unto the Father’s instruction unto the man.

2Ti 2:4  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 

2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 

2Ti 4:4  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 

Moreover, the time ‘has come’ when the heart of man would rather forego sound doctrine, and instead of being educated, and taught by their Father’s Word, they desire “teachers” of whom they choose, and these teachers preach a doctrine that caters to the “lusts” of the man, and even though it will sound like the “sound doctrine” of His Word; the word will be preached “after” the things that will cater to the fleshly lusts of the man. Those carnal things like health, wealth, and relationship are the popular lusts that is sought after by the man, and he assumes that God also desires to give these things unto His Church. The man has grown in the education of this world, and since Paul’s day, man has taken pleasure in the sins of this world, then they begin to promote it, and advance it on to a further degree by benefiting from it, then they find ways to make it more explosive then it has ever been before, this is how the “works of darkness” is being put on display in this world, man is not only doing them unknowingly; but he desires them, and most of all he becomes addicted to them, and he will teach others what is ‘the good,’ or what is ‘the evil,’ in his sight.

1Co 3:18  Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 

1Co 3:19  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 

1Co 3:20  And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 

1Co 4:10  We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. 

Furthermore, the Corinthians thought they were “wise in Christ,” they did not think they were walking according to the course of this world, but they were actually very “wise” in this world, and they operated upon what this world said was true godliness, and true worship. We must come to understand and appreciate that those two ‘words of instruction’ (the Word of God and the word of man) are either going to work ‘for’ our godly edifying, or work ‘against’ our godly edifying. And as such, they both will either work ‘for’ this world and Satan, or work against this World and Satan!

Col 2:7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 

Col 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 

Finally, today’s “teachers” of this world have increased more, and more based upon their quest as they unknowingly seek after “Wisdom,” and the glory that comes from this as being the one who is ‘all knowing,’ and the hearers desire a “teacher” who preaches a doctrine that falls in line with their preconceived beliefs about what they think God is doing today. And the goal of the adversary, is to have the saint to go completely opposite to what the will of God is for the saint to live his life by, which is the Word of God, and how we ought to be led by His word in our decision making, as we align our minds WITH His Word! And use a Spiritual application of His Word in all the details of our Lives, and when we read His Word, we must understand that all we read is to benefit our inward man only, but Satan wants you to believe that God’s Word concerns your outward man, and all its wants and desires of the flesh. But today, many do not think they themselves fall under this category, but by applying a “carnal” application that revolves around their lives to His Word, they themselves follow the wisdom, and word of man, and not the will, and Word of God.
